I’m excited to announce Lights Out Mass, a new podcast about government transparency in Massachusetts that I’m hosting with Jeff Raymond.
In our first episode, Jeff and I introduce ourselves, talk about how public records can be used to investigate police misconduct, and weigh in on whether Donald Trump’s criminal trials should be televised.
If you enjoyed the podcast, please subscribe to The Mass Dump for future episodes.
We’ll be discussing our work in more detail, including Jeff’s project to obtain data about complaints against all police officers in Massachusetts and my public records lawsuits against the Northwestern and Bristol County district attorneys. We’ll also be interviewing journalists and advocates about topics like police body cameras, remote access to public meetings, and the lack of transparency at the State House.
Our plan is to put out an episode at least once every two weeks.
